I have a new job. I sell copier machines for Konica Minolta in South New Jersey, but my office is in Philly.

I did it. I managed to make it through college in 4 years. WOOO HOO. I am now back in Delaware. I start working at Konica Minolta in Philly next tuesday.

Ive been listening to alot of music that reminds me of Delaware when it was fun. GAMEOVER was playing last night in my head, and it had me thinking of all the fun times we used to have in Delaware, before the scene was over run with 13 year old kids with mad moshability ratings. I mean just 5 years ago or something, we were all piling in to cars, 30 people deep, to go to shows, all the time. Now I see those people once every 5 months. I guess they grew up and I didnt? Who knows.
Delaware has gone to the birds for real. I can list all the people that are decent on one hand. And I cant count high enough to list the people that need to go climb trees and shit.
Talk shit as you might on the old Legion shows, but thats when we were kings. I mean this sounds odd, but I almost wish for the days that when Dennis and Galinskis or whatever would book the Christ Our King shows, and only have like 100 people, if that, show up, cause they were all there for the right reason. Not for social hour and cocktails.
Oh well. I guess things change...too bad they dont change back that often.

HOLY SHIT IM BORED.
Another wasted weekend, with only one thing that made it good, and I cant really talk about it.
Im pretty much sick of being at school and its only 2 weeks into the semester. I just have no motivation to do anything. I mean im getting my work done, but everything else is a bore. Too much free time. I just am ready to be done college...again though, only one thing has been making me happy here. oh well.
Does anyone else remember when Straight Edge was a hardcore thing? Now half the people that claim edge dont even know where it comes from or anything. Oh well. I dont feel like ranting...i could though.

Delaware doesnt have a hardcore scene. Plain and simple. There was one, and now its dead. Delaware has nothing. Harry is starting to bring it back, which is great and I appreciate it more then he will ever know. Hardcore is the only thing in my life that is a certain and a constant. Friends change, people die, things change, but hardcore has always been there and always will be there. You call yourself the Delaware Kids, but you arent. The true Delaware Kids were the original Hellaware/DGC crew, and no you werent in it.
You are right, you shouldnt be dancing at the grange. Do you know why?! Cause its pop punk shows. And you faggots all dance just to show off your hot new moves and pick on people who wont say anything back, and you are just as guilty as anyone Nick. I have been guilty of this at times as well but I realized its stupid as fuck in the past year or two.
You kids all show off your sweet moves and crowd punches and try to fight anyone that gives you a hardlook cause you rule the Grange, thats faggotry. How many of you cross statelines to go ot shows? Like 3. How many of you go and try to pull the same shit in Philly? NONE.
And for once, Philly came to Delaware for All Else failed. Just cause some dudes had FSU jackets on and more scene points then you, you kids all hid in the corners and werent so tough to act like you are the kings of the grange then, but then next weekend you are up to the same old tricks. Why is that? Why were there more fights at a poppunk show then a fucking hardcore show? Hell, you guys looked like bitches in your own fucking state. There was some 12 year old kid in a Pantera shirt and it was more then likely his first show ever in there showing more heart and conviction then any of you showed ever. He reminds me of myself when I started going to shows, when it was just for the music and for the love of it, not for the social aspect.
Im not saying that hardcore shouldnt be a social thing, all of my friends I have met through hardcore, and I wouldnt trade them for anything, but when a show turns into a social gala and a band happens to be playing. To be honest, dont go. You arent supporthing the bands, dont go. In recent years I have become very guilty of this myself, but this shiit has to go.
What makes you think that just cause you walk into the grange you can do what you want, but as soon as you cross state lines you put on the pink panties and get sand in your vaginas? Fucking pathetic.
There are only like 3 kids under the age of 21 in Delaware I respect at this point, and that number is probably even less then that. Tussey is the only one that is true to hardcore.
You guys arent hardcore. Cut the act. Its lame as fuck. You are bullies, plain and simple. And thats not what hardcore is about. Hardcore is about getting up and going to shows no matter where they are. Its not about getting drunk and talking about how hard you moshed. Its about friendship and supporting the scene, not trying to fight indie rock bands and 13 year old kids who are going to shows for the first time.

Part of me wishes society was different. Delaware has gotten silly.
Harry finallly noticed what ive been saying for the past couple of years....when certain people enter the grange thier balls triple in size, but the same people develop manginas and put on the pink panties when they cross state lines, if they even dare. But last weekend, a hardcore show in Delaware, had most of them being wallflowers at the grange. it was ammusing to see that, cause they were all hidden last weekend during a hardcore show, but crowdpunching and trying to headwalk during a pop punk show...its an enigma like whooooa.

Delaware was super awesome.
Wednesday: Got home. Shaved my brothers head. Katie came over (woo hoo). We went to McGlynns for a.y.c.e hot wings...originally it was gonna be Me, Mulqueen, and Pollcat, but then Dennis came along, And then Kryzzy, And then Finch, Then Markowski...well to make a long story short there was like 10 people and it was funnnn.
Went back to my house and got in the luke warm tub after that.
Thursday - I worked most of the day and then went to Katies. And stayed there. Hubba hubba.
Friday - I dont remember what I did. I went to a show at night...saw a decent band play but it was overall crapacular. I went with Joe and this girl Jess (cool girl). the Galinskis showed up as wel and then we bailed out to go do somethings.
Saturday - Katie went to NJ. I got up and went to breakfast with Lauren 570 and Pollcat, they bought me donuts...good people indeed. Then we went to Pollcats crib and hung out. I went back home and then went to Mulqueens and to Bullseyes for lunch. Then he bought me a cheese cake blizzard and listened to the new Deicide. Then I went to the show at the grange. It was alright. Jeremy got thrown out and I got a black eye. Hahah.Then we went to McCurdys for a few hours.
Sunday was easter. Family stuff. Good times. Katie came home. Woo hoo.
Monday: Worked for a few hours. Went to the tattoo parlor and gave Tim some stuff to draw up for me and Katie. Then we laid around all day. It was a good day for that.
Tuesday: I woke up at 11:00, Katie came over at like 3 or something. We went to the mall and then to Delaware Park where I played $5 and lost. Hahah. Then we went to my house and hung out until I went back to school.
Wednesday: Its now.
Thursday: Its tomorrow.
Friday: Back in delaware. Woo hoo.

So im bored as hell. I assume Katie is home now. Someone is puking in the toilet again. Oh well. COLLLLLEGE!!!
So weekend update:
Friday - Practiced and then hung out for a bit. Katie got here around 8:30 I think. We just chilled and watched Chappelle and stuff.
Saturday: Got up went to Annapolis for rugby. We lost, I was in a bad mood. Heres why: I hate sports. Flat out. But I love rugby, cause its fun. The reason I hate sports is cause people get to seriuos and they start being poor sports, beit just cheating or arguing with the refs and shit. I hate that. Especially when you are losing, it just makes you look like a bigger loser. And then my roommate, a senior captain, doesnt want to give the ref his cheers (3 cheers for otehr team, 3 cheers for ref, 3 cheers for the mount) what bullshit is that? I told him not to be a dick and he tries to swing on me. He is supposed to be setting the example for the freshmen, and he does that shit? Not cool.
I also got kicked in the head during the game and got knocked out. That was pretty neat.
After the game me and Katie went and walked around Annapolis, it was a really nice day. We got chinese and sushi. Then came back here when I proceeded to pass out.
Sunday: Woke up and went to Rugged Wearhouse, this is like a outlet store type deal, cheap clothes and shit. Well the one at home has all sorts of gear for dazzling young urbanites, but the one here...well its for white people I guess. I didnt get anything. I wanted this baby blue basketball warmup suit thing. Its hot. Hot ta death even.
Then we went to Market St. Frederick and hung out at the tattoo parlor. I found something I like for my arm there. Wooo hoo! We were there for like an hour talking to th artist about shit. Good dude.
Then we went to gettysburg battle field. It was such a nice day we just walked around and climbed on the rocks and shit. I also poked crawdads with a stick for fun. We left there after sweating and stuff and went and walked around the town. Went to get ice cream and then back here. We took a nap and watched tv for the rest of the night as I worked on the layout for this shit. Woo hoo me.
Monday: Katie left at 7:30 this morning. Boo.
